'Ello for you Santa

Dear Friends

I am delighted to present to you a special letter for Santa from very special Border Terrier called Marley. He is, as all Border Terriers are, a proper little character and absolutely adorable. Marley has a great presence, with kind things to say and he is very funny. Whether feeding his typist a bacon sandwich or taking photos of Marmite on Regent Street, he is what every dog should be – a fun and loyal companion.

He passes on his apologies to you all as his typist lacks a formal education so he types exactly as Marley speaks…

A Santa Letter from Marley

‘Ello for you Santa
 
It duz be me, Marley, and I ave been a good boy this year (apart from that incident wiv da icing sugar) and so I am allowed to write to you to tell you what I am hopin for for Christmas. I do say it is also my birfday around that time, if you know what I mean (*winks*)
 
If I have been good enuff to earn a present then I would likes somefink simple like a nice new beanbag for sleepin on. You can leave it by the fire cos that I where I likes to snooze….and if you can make it smell like daddy then that would be perfect. Also, perhaps a little one to go by the side of it for Lola to sleep on so that she does stop botherin me and jumpin in my sleepin places and blowin rasberries at me.

Praps if I have been really good and you is phinkin of lettin me have two presents (I say sorry now about chewin the calendar and ask for several similar offences to be taken into consideration) then I wud like to have some nice minty chews what are good for my teeth.

In exceptional circumstances and you are thinkin about a third thing for me, then I will arsk for good health and appiness for all the animals what I know (includin hooman animals please).

Dear Santa: I would like: a nice chewy bone, a comfy bed (preferably a chewable one) A nice bag of doggy treats and lots of cuddles… love from Lola

    I am hoping for squeaky toys too, I am a weetweeber and love to squeak!

    I have tried to be good although I don’t always get it right, I mean puddles are for running in, right?

  7. We’re sure you’ve both been good enough for at least 1 present from Santa. We think that we’re going to get something, as mum has hung our stockings. We’re both so excited, and can’t wait until Christmas day. We know a border terrier called Mabel, and she’s as nutty as a fruitcake. My mum says that she’s like someone called Zebedee, as she bounces up and down. My dad totally loves her, but not as much as he loves us. Have a great Christmas, and hope you get everything you want.   9. Dear Marley-My name is Poppy and I am supposed to be half Border Terrier but I don’t look at all like you! My Mum was a Jack Russell and I look like her…and I am very good at catching mice!
    I am rather naughty too…but I think Santa will still bring me some presents because I am adorable really-or so my family say!
    I am sure you will get some presents too…
